- BRAW SDK rolled back to version 3.3 because of a crash issue in latest 3.4 : Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and Fujifilm GFX100 II Blackmagic RAW clips captured by Blackmagic Video Assist are temporarily unavailable while we investigate this crash. If you need support for those you should install BRAW Studio v3.1.4 and tell us if you experience the crash or not
- For those who can not update their system and get requirements for latest BRAW Studio version, we re-opened a V2 Special Store to license our old V2 versions. We STRONGLY encourage you to see if you can update your system to use latest BRAW Studio V3 with all latest fixes and improvements. You will find the new V2 store, download links for old legacy versions and more info in this article: https://www.autokroma.com/blog/BRAW-Studio-Legacy-Versions-for-Old-Support
- New Setting "Importer : Sync Mode" available from the "Settings & License" popup. Use this option if you feel bad performances with BRAW Studio as importer in Adobe products OR if you have memory issues - Please send us feedback if you experience a difference with this option disabled !
- New "Reset Settings Below" button in the "Settings & License" popup
- Fixed rare crashes
- When you are importing a corrupted .BRAW, BRAW Studio will try to report one of the following error, instead of letting Adobe guide you through another BRAW plugin which will not work as the source of the problem is your source footage being corrupted. Please try to open your .braw in the official Blackmagic Raw desktop player, our Desktop player or DaVinci Resolve to see if those applications can open it.
- "The importer reported a generic error" in Adobe Premiere Pro, with an error in the Events window "BRAW Studio could not properly open the following file, which might indicate a potential corruption of its content"
- "The file X .braw could not be imported. Could not read from source. Please check the settings and try again" in Adobe Media Encoder
- "Could not read from source. Please check the settings and try again" then "file X.braw cannot be imported - this .braw file is damaged or unsupported" in Adobe After Effects
